Musical Legend Prince Dies at 57
The musician’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, said the 57-year-old pop superstar was found dead at his Minnesota estate in Chanhassen.
Authorities responded to a medical emergency at the Paisley Park property at 9:43 a.m., according to TMZ.
One week ago, he shared an ominous photo on Instagram of a blank white space. His fans flooded the image with wishes for his health. “Get some rest Prince, we’ll still be here when you feel better,” one wrote.
Earlier this month, the singer was hospitalizedafter his jet made an emergency landing in Illinois, hours after a performance in Atlanta.
A rep for Prince told TMZ at the time that he had been suffering from the flu for several weeks.
“Wait a few days before you waste any prayers,” Prince told revelers at a party he hosted just after his hospitalization.

New Black President
Channing Dungey made history after being appointed President of ABC Entertainment, making her the first black person to be the head of programming to run a major broadcast network. According to Deadline, the former ABC president Paul Lee abruptly left the network during "a major executive upheaval in the middle of pilot season."
Disney ABC Television Group chief Ben Sherwood spoke on Dungey's new position, "Channing is a gifted leader and a proven magnet for top creative talent, with an impressive record of developing compelling, breakthrough programming that resonates with viewers. We thank Paul for his many accomplishments at ABC and his devotion to the ABC brand, and we wish him continued success in the future."
